Mr. George Kinoti, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss has made changes in the top management of the agency.
John Otieno who heads Anti Terrorist Police Unit (ATPU) in Mombasa will now head ATPU at the Agency’s headquarters.
Otieno will replace John Gachomo who will be promoted to head investigations at the headquarters in Nairobi.
John Gachomo will be replacing John Kariuki who is set to retire in June 2021 as he will be turning 60 years, the mandatory retirement age.
Nairobi DCI boss Bernard Nyakwaka who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector of Police will replace Henry Ondieki as the head of Investigative Operations at the DCI headquarters.
Mr. Ondieki will also be retiring at the end of may.
