Kune food has announced end of its operations citing “economic downturn” after selling over 50,000 meals in less than a year it has existed. Founded in 2020 to offer online ready food delivery, Kune was funded by Pan-African ventures as well as Century Oak Capital among others. Kenya in a bid to cut neighboring Tanzania dominance is in the process of constructing the biggest import and storage LPG facility in the coast. This idea comes a few days after Kenya banned gas imports from Tanzania through Namanga boarder citing massive irregularities by businesses involved. The 25,000 tones storage facility will connect to the Sh42 billion new Kipevu Oil Terminal (KOT) 2 at Mombasa port. Kenyans are happy after a sign that high prices of basic commodities could reduce. This is after Finance committee shot down proposal by the tax man on taxes on some goods. Royal Mabati factory fined Ksh 2.65 million for misleading ond defrauding customers

Kenya roofing giant, Royal Mabati Factory has lost an apeal to overturn ksh 2.65 million penalty that was imposed to it for misleading customers that they deliver purchased roofing products countrywide. The firm has also been found guilty of forcing customers to change their product orders then demanding delivery fees.
