Deputy President William Ruto has declared his support to Abdul Haji, the son of the late Yusuf Haji for the Garissa Senator seat.
The Deputy President took to his twitter handle to announce his decision in supporting the Young Abdul who may vie on a United Democratic alliance (UDA) ticket although this he did not verify.
On his announcement Ruto said he met members of Gasissa county assembly at is Karen home and discussed empowerment program for the hustler nation.

The Garissa Senator’s sit became vacant following the demise of Senator Yusuf Haji last month.
