Ugandan Authorities Actively hunting for those linked to bombings in the capital

Ugandan government is currently pursuing those liked to Tuesday bombings in the country’s capital Kampala.

One Muslim cleric Sheikh Muhammad Abas Kirevu who is said to have recruited and radicalized terror recruits on behalf of Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), linked to IS, was shot dead in Kampala by Ugandan police.

ADF, formed in Uganda in 1990’s, now operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo and recently swore allegiance to the Islamic state claimed responsibility for the Tuesday bombing.

At least four people were killed and over thirty injured in the attack.

21 people linked to the attack have so far been arrested according to police sources.

Another cleric being hunted, Sheikh Suleiman Nsubuga, is also accused of training terrorists, radicalizing potential recruits, and providing materials to make improvised explosive devices.

Uganda has recently witnessed a number of bomb explosions in the capital, all linked to ADF.
