25 families we left homeless, two killed and several injured when armed individual attacked a village in Lamu. The attackers targeted several homes and which were torched including a local church.
This particular village is now being attacked for the 3rd times. The attackers believed to be terrorists also looted several livestock likes goats, sheep and poultry.
“We ask the government to help us stop these attacks on us, we are being killed every day,” one resident said while speaking to the media.
Once the criminals had finished terrorizing the village, they attempted to attack a nearby GSU Camp at Panda Nguo but were fiercely repelled by the officers.
They also attacked a long distance Lorry along the road and killed the driver.
Report shows that 29 police officers have been killed in the last 3months in terrorist-related attacks in different parts of the country including wijir, Garisa and Lamu.
