Magical Kenya Brand Ambassador Naomi Campbell welcomes her first baby.
The 50 year old announced the news on her instagram account with a photo of her cuddling the baby’s feet.
“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, honored to have this gentle soul in my life,” she posted.
The Model’s mother, Valerie Morris Campbell also posted on her social account saying she has, “waited a long time to be a grandmother.”
Ms Campbell was quoted in a 2017 Interview with Evening Standard saying she wanted to become a mother.
“I think about having children all the time,” she said, “now with science I think I can do it when I want.”
The celebrated model who discovered her talent while still in a school girl, became the first black woman to appear on British Vogue and later went on to launch her philanthropy foundation, Fashion For Relief, in 2005.
Kenya Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife appointed Ms Campbell as Magical Kenya International Ambassador on 12th January this year, a move that was criticized by many Kenyans as to why the tittle did not go to Internationally recognized Kenyan celebrities such as Lupita Nyong’o.
