The Australian think tank Lowy Institute ranks Rwanda sixth globally in managing the Covid-19 pandemic and making it possible for the public to access the information.
A total of 98 countries were ranked in accordance with how they responded to the pandemic within 36 weeks after the number of those infected with the disease hit 100 in each country being ranked.
The report ranked Ugand 30th while Kenya trailed Uganda at position 48.

Countries like China and Tanzania failed to appear in the ranking due to lack of daily updates about the management of the pandemic.
By Wednessday Rwanda had increased its testing capacity, with over 4,000 daily tests and up to 853,238 in total.
A total of 14,166 people have tested positive since the pandemic broke out. This is in contrast to Kenya which has reported a total of 100,323 and a total of 1,751 deaths as of January 29, 2021.
Rwanda on the other hand has only reported 183 deaths which translate to 1.3 percent of the people infected.
