Deputy President Willian Ruto yesterday came out pointing fingers at Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i and his Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho as the ones behind hate leaflets that were spread in Uasin Gishu and parts of NorthRift region.
He went further to ask President Kenyatta to reprimand the two as they are also constantly meeting with the chiefs to manipulate the August polls.
“Mr President, just as you reprimanded DCI boss George Kinoti, you should do the same to Matiangi and Kibicho. They should go home,” the DP said.

“The tactic of spreading leaflets so that people can differ is something that will not happen. You will not succeed because we have decided that we cannot go back and fight over politics.”
Ruto also urged his supporters to remain calm and not cause chaos in the Monday elections.
