Tanzanian renowned bongo singer Rayvanny has announced exit from Wasafi records.
Wasafi Classic Baby (widely referred by its short form, “WCB”; also, sometimes referred to as WCB Wasafi) is a Tanzanian-based record label founded by Diamond Platnumz. It was officially registered on February 02, 2016.
In an instagram Video Ravanny, born Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, heartily thanked WCB for making his get this far.
According to a post on Wasafi Website, the company thanked Rayvanny bidding him goodbye and wishing him well.
“After 6 good years of being with Rayvanny as our second signee artist under WCB wasafi , we are officially declaring that he is now eligibly independent . With this confirmations and declarations of the exit , we are desired to utter.Thank you for serving the best, standing by our label and for working under the interests of the company for betterment of our music industry, we as well wish you all the best in your journey as independent artist. Wasafi Records has been known for nurturing some of the best bongo music artists in East Africa. Other artists who are still under the label include: Mboso (Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi), Lava Lava (Abdul Juma Idd), Queen Darleen (Mwanahawa Abdul) and Zuchu (Zuhura Othman Soud).
