The weatherman has warned of heavy rainfall that could lead to flooding in some counties.
Counties that could be affected include; Nairobi and Nyeri. The others are; Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Tharaka Nithi, Taita Taveta, Kitui, Machakos, Embu, Meru, Murang’a, Makueni, Isiolo, Mombasa, Kilifi and Lamu.
Kenya Meteorological Department is urging members of the pubic to be aware of the possible floods that could affect arears that will not receive the heavy rain such as the river valleys and downstream.
Motorists are also urged not to drive in flooded areas to avoid being swept.
