Omanyala beat odds to qualify for 100m semis in Oregon USA

After experiencing delays to have his US VISA and arriving late for the competition, undeterred Omanyala came third in the heat seven to qualify for semi finals.

The first position was clinched by Japanese Abdul Hakim Sani in 9.98 seconds while Edward Ose-Nketia came second in 10.08.

Omanyala like, many other athletes around the world experienced VISA hitches and so arrive late for the competition.
