As schools reopen, many students from disadvantages families are going to be stranded as the treasury failed to release the CDF that many constituencies use to help them fund part of their fees.
Last year just before the Members of parliament went for recess there was a drama as MPs paralyzed sitting due to delay in the fund disbursement.
They are now demanding the immediate release of Sh63 billion meant for the National Government-Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) by the government within seven days, failure to which they will move an ouster motion against the treasury cabinet.
During a press briefing, Rarieda MP Otiende Amolo conformed that no single cent had been disbursed.
