As part of worksite development by Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (SMEA), upgrade of Masaku Juakali worksite has begun.
The Masaku Juakali site which accommodates more than 1000 will be a common user facility availing machines to support innovation and give value addition to the constituency.
SMEA has the plan to facelift Jua kali sites by providing sanitation facilities, electricity and help in the expansion of the sector.
“By providing common user facilities and equipment, we are helping to boost production, quality and efficiency in the sector amidst the current challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic,” Mr Henry Rithaa, MSEA chief executive said.
MSEA has in the past help to upgrade 120 constituency Industrial Development Centers all over the country.
