Kenyans have been surprised yet again by the high number of joblessness portrayed by massive number of applicants for opening at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
The TSC announced vacancies 14,000 teachers but a total of 356,000 potential job seekers applied for the jobs.
This means that one out of 25 of the applicants will be selected for the job.
The application closed on July 7.
Joblessness among Kenyan youths is a major problem not only in the education sector but in other careers such as engineering and health.

In 2018, Kenyan doctors sued the government for hiring doctors from Cuba while many of them remained without jobs.
Report by Kenya National Bureau of Statistics points that Kenyans aged 20 to 29 are the most unemployed in the country.
