The Swedish multinational clothing retail H&M has been wiped out of china internet after the company made labor force comments as reported by Business Insider.
According to The Associate Press, H&M goods no longer feature in Alibaba and JD.com. Key Chinese search Engines like Baidu was reported to have removed the locations of 500 stores of H&M online.
According to Business Insider, H&M is experiencing these troubles following a statement that company gave last year that it will “stop sourcing cotton from the Xinjiang autonomous region and sever its ties with a Chinese yarn company that had been accused of forcing labor upon the Uyghur Muslim community.”
