On Monday 15th of February, Milimani law courts in Nairobi acquitted Deputy Director of medical services at Nairobi Metropolitan Services, Mr. Musa Mohammed.
The prosecutor lacked evident to go ahead with the case forcing them withdraw the case.
Mr. Mohammed and six others were arrested last year November for allegedly running a child trafficking syndicate after a BBC Africa investigation exposure.
After the court dismissed charges against him, Mr. Mohammed sincerely thanked his legal representatives for their great legal services and said he is happy o be free at last.
“I’m very happy that I am a free person and that I can continue my duties at the NMS, Mohammed said.

A BBC Africa undercover investigation unveiled Mama Lucy Hospital as a child trafficking hospital. During the exposure a social worker was seen on camera negotiating to sell a baby to an undercover BBC journalist.
After the video by BBC going public, the police was forced to start an investigation.
