An eight-year-old girl was accidentally killed during a domestic brawl between the parents in Kilgoris.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations reported that Amos Maengwe and Esther Kaiseyi were involved in domestic fight when Mr. Maengwe tried to hit the wife with an object which landed on the daughter instead.
The two then stopped their fight and carried their daughter to the hospital.
On their way to the hospital past 10.00 PM they met police officer on patrol who owing to the deepcut in the girl’s head, “rushed them to nearby Kilgoris sub county hospital to help save the life of the minor.”
The little girl however succumbed to injuries as the doctors tried to attend to her.
Mr. Maengwe and his wife are being held at Kilgoris Police station as the police conclude their investigations.
