Health facilities across the country are running out of blood at an alarming rate – a situation that is putting the lives of many Kenyans at risk.
The vitality of blood to human existence needs no more elaboration.
Therefore news that blood banks countrywide are rapidly running out of this vital requirement serves as a reminder to all of us to answer the call of humanity.
Take for instance that young anaemic child in your neighborhood who losses their life owing to lack of blood in the nearby hospital.
I call on you to answer this call to humanity, take cognizant of the dire need of blood in the country, and #DONATE.
In particular, I appeal to my fellow #young Kenyans to demonstrate sensitivity to the plight of other needy citizens by donating blood.
Together we can secure a great future of this nation if we unite in this noble gesture designed to save lives.
I urge you to walk into the nearby blood bank and donate blood so that you and I can save a life.
